'Descendants' in the Bible

‘For I will pour out water on the thirsty landAnd streams on the dry ground;I will pour out My Spirit on your offspringAnd My blessing on your descendants;

“Your descendants would have been like the sand,And your offspring like its grains;Their name would never be cut off or destroyed from My presence.”

“For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left.And your descendants will possess nationsAnd will resettle the desolate cities.

Then their offspring will be known among the nations,And their descendants in the midst of the peoples.All who see them will recognize themBecause they are the offspring whom the Lord has blessed.

“They will not labor in vain,Or bear children for calamity;For they are the offspring of those blessed by the Lord,And their descendants with them.
