'Desert' in the Bible

God, when You went out before Your people,when You marched through the desert,Selah

May desert tribes kneel before himand his enemies lick the dust.

You crushed the heads of Leviathan;You fed him to the creatures of the desert.

Exaltation does not comefrom the east, the west, or the desert,

But they continued to sin against Him,rebelling in the desert against the Most High.

How often they rebelled against Himin the wildernessand grieved Him in the desert.

I am like a desert owl,like an owl among the ruins.

He opened a rock, and water gushed out;it flowed like a stream in the desert.

He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up;He led them through the depths as through a desert.

They were seized with craving in the wildernessand tested God in the desert.

So He raised His hand against them with an oaththat He would make them fall in the desert

He turns rivers into desert,springs of water into thirsty ground,

He turns a desert into a pool of water,dry land into springs of water.
