'Desert' in the Bible

A fire destroys in front of them,and behind them a flame devours.The land in front of themis like the Garden of Eden,but behind them,it is like a desert wasteland;there is no escape from them.

Egypt will become desolate,and Edom a desert wasteland,because of the violence done to the people of Judahin whose land they shed innocent blood.
