'Distinguishing' in the Bible
For the eater and drinker eats and drinks judgment to himself, not distinguishing the body.
Now there are [distinctive] varieties of spiritual gifts [special abilities given by the grace and extraordinary power of the Holy Spirit operating in believers], but it is the same Spirit [who grants them and empowers believers].
to another, the performing of miracles,to another, prophecy,to another, distinguishing between spirits,to another, different kinds of languages,to another, interpretation of languages.
