'Drink' in the Bible

“On garments taken as pledges they stretch out beside every altar,And in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.

“But you made the Nazirites drink wine,And you commanded the prophets saying, ‘You shall not prophesy!’

Hear this word, you cows of Bashan who are on the mountain of Samaria,Who oppress the poor, who crush the needy,Who say to your husbands, “Bring now, that we may drink!”

“So two or three cities would stagger to another city to drink water,But would not be satisfied;Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.

Therefore because you impose heavy rent on the poorAnd exact a tribute of grain from them,Though you have built houses of well-hewn stone,Yet you will not live in them;You have planted pleasant vineyards, yet you will not drink their wine.

Who drink wine from sacrificial bowlsWhile they anoint themselves with the finest of oils,Yet they have not grieved over the ruin of Joseph.

“Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel,And they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them;They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine,And make gardens and eat their fruit.
