'Drunkenness' in the Bible

Blessed are you, land, when your king is a son of noblesand your princes feast at the proper time—for strength and not for drunkenness.

And you will say to them: This is what the Lord says: I am about to fill all who live in this land—the kings who reign for David on his throne, the priests, the prophets and all the residents of Jerusalem—with drunkenness.

You will be filled with drunkenness and grief,with a cup of devastation and desolation,the cup of your sister Samaria.
