'Escapes' in the Bible

Whoever flees at the sound of panicwill fall into a pit,and whoever escapes from the pitwill be caught in a trap.For the windows are opened from heaven,and the foundations of the earth are shaken.

Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel,“My way is hidden from the Lord,And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”?
