'Expression' in the Bible

but with Cain and his offering he was not pleased. So Cain became very angry, and his expression was downcast.

Then the Lord said to Cain, "Why are you angry, and why is your expression downcast?

Now the whole earth spoke one language and used the same words (vocabulary).

Jacob saw the expression on Laban's face, and, behold, it was not toward him as before.

and said to them, "I see the expression on your father's face, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father has been with me.
