'Fat' in the Bible

“What are your multiplied sacrifices to Me?”Says the Lord.“I have had enough of burnt offerings of ramsAnd the fat of fed cattle;And I take no pleasure in the blood of bulls, lambs or goats.

The sword of the Lord is filled with blood,It is sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats,With the fat of the kidneys of rams.For the Lord has a sacrifice in BozrahAnd a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

Wild oxen will also fall with themAnd young bulls with strong ones;Thus their land will be soaked with blood,And their dust become greasy with fat.

“You have bought Me not sweet cane with money,Nor have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices;Rather you have burdened Me with your sins,You have wearied Me with your iniquities.
