'Fish' in the Bible
Or also [if] he will ask for a fish, will give him a snake?
For just as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights.
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was thrown into the sea and gathered [fish] of every kind,
which when it was filled they pulled to shore and sat down [and] collected the good [fish] into containers, but the bad they threw out.
And they said to him, "We do not have [anything] here except five loaves and two fish."
And he commanded the crowds to recline for a meal on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish [and] looking up to heaven, he gave thanks. And [after] breaking [them], he gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples [gave them] to the crowds.
And Jesus said to them, "How many loaves do you have?" So they said, "Seven, and a few little fish."
he took the seven loaves and the fish and [after he] had given thanks, he broke [them] and began giving [them] to the disciples, and the disciples [gave them] to the crowds.
But so that we do not give offense to them, go out to the sea, cast [a line with] a hook, and take the first fish that comes up. And [when you] open its mouth, you will find a four-drachma coin. Take that [and] give [it] to them for me and you."
