'Flattering' in the Bible

They speak deceitful and worthless words to one another;With flattering lips and a double heart they speak.

May the Lord cut off all flattering lips,The tongue that speaks great things [in boasting];

To keep you from the immoral woman;From the seductress with her flattering words,

A lying tongue hates those it wounds and crushes,And a flattering mouth works ruin.

For there will no longer be any false and empty vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel.
