'Flight' in the Bible

How should one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Except their Rock had sold them, And Jehovah had delivered them up?

And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran; and they shouted, and put them to flight.

and Beriah, and Shema, who were heads of fathers houses of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;
