'Flint' in the Bible

So Zipporah took a flint, cut off her son’s foreskin, and threw it at Moses’ feet. Then she said, “You are a bridegroom of blood to me!”

At that time the Lord said to Joshua, “Make flint knives and circumcise the Israelite men again.”

So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the Israelite men at Gibeath-haaraloth.

The miner strikes the flintand transforms the mountains at their foundations.

who turned the rock into a pool of water,the flint into a spring of water.

Their arrows are sharpened,and all their bows strung.Their horses’ hooves are like flint;their chariot wheels are like a whirlwind.

The Lord God will help Me;therefore I have not been humiliated;therefore I have set My face like flint,and I know I will not be put to shame.

I have made your forehead like a diamond, harder than flint. Don’t be afraid of them or discouraged by the look on their faces, even though they are a rebellious house.”
