He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised, every male throughout your generations, whether born in [your] house or bought with [your] money from any foreigner not of your offspring.

And all the men of his house, both those born in the house and those bought with money from a foreigner, were circumcised along with him.

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the Passover: No foreigner shall eat of it;

A foreigner or hired servant shall not eat of it.

So that the next generation, your children who rise up after you, and the foreigner who shall come from a distant land, shall say, when they see the plagues of this land and the diseases with which the Lord has made it sick -- "
