'Further' in the Bible

I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.

and though the twins were not yet born and had not done anything either good or bad, so that God’s purpose [His choice, His election] would stand, not because of works [done by either child], but because of [the plan of] Him who calls them,

Again Isaiah says,“There shall be a root of Jesse,He who arises to rule [as King] over the Gentiles,In Him shall the Gentiles hope.”

But now, having no further opportunities in these regions, I want to come to you, as I've desired to do for many years.
