'Future' in the Bible

“Would that they were wise, that they understood this,That they would discern their future!

And yet this was insignificant in Your eyes, O Lord God, for You have spoken also of the house of Your servant concerning the distant future. And this is the custom of man, O Lord God.

Surely there is a future,And your hope will not be cut off.

Know that wisdom is thus for your soul;If you find it, then there will be a future,And your hope will not be cut off.

For there will be no future for the evil man;The lamp of the wicked will be put out.

Strength and dignity are her clothing,And she smiles at the future.

For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

“There is hope for your future,” declares the Lord,“And your children will return to their own territory.

“The vision of the evenings and morningsWhich has been told is true;But keep the vision secret,For it pertains to many days in the future.”

Now I have come to give you an understanding of what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision pertains to the days yet future.”

storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.

in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
