'Green' in the Bible

“While it is still green (in flower) and not cut down,Yet it withers before any other plant [when without water].

“He thrives and prospers [like a green plant] before the sun,And his branches spread out over his garden.

“It will be fulfilled while he still lives,And his branch will not be green [but shall wither away].

“He explores the mountains as his pastureAnd searches after every green thing.
