'Hastens' in the Bible

Until an arrow pierced his liver [with a mortal wound];Like a bird fluttering straight into the net,He did not know that it would cost him his life.

The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance and advantage,But everyone who acts in haste comes surely to poverty.

He who has an evil and envious eye hurries to be richAnd does not know that poverty will come upon him.

Also, the sun rises and the sun sets;And hurries to the place where it rises again.

“The destruction of Moab will come soon,And his disaster hurries quickly.

“Their horses are swifter than leopardsAnd keener than [hungry] wolves in the evening,Their horsemen come galloping,Their horsemen come from far away;They fly like an eagle swooping down to devour.

Then the Lord answered me and said,“Write the visionAnd engrave it plainly on [clay] tabletsSo that the one who reads it will run.

“For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] timeIt hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail.Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it,Because it will certainly come; it will not delay.
