'Houses' in the Bible

Like a cage full of birds, so their houses are filled with treachery. This is how they have become prominent and rich,

Their houses will be turned over to others their fields and wives together when I stretch out my hand against those who live in the land," declares the LORD.

For a sound of mourning is heard from Zion: "How we're ruined! Our shame is very great, because we have left the land, because our houses are torn down.'"

He burned the LORD's Temple, the king's house, and all the houses in Jerusalem. He also burned every public building with fire.
