'Lamp' in the Bible

Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works: but if not, I am coming to thee, and I will remove thy lamp out of its place, except thou shalt repent.

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

the light of a lampwill never shine in you again;and the voice of a groom and bridewill never be heard in you again.All this will happenbecause your merchantswere the nobility of the earth,because all the nations were deceivedby your sorcery,

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because God’s glory illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

and night shall not be there, and they have no need of a lamp and light of a sun, because the Lord God doth give them light, and they shall reign -- to the ages of the ages.
