'Leave' in the Bible

Now the king sent word and called for Shimei and said to him, “Build yourself a house in Jerusalem and live there. Do not go from there to any other place.

May the Lord our God be with us as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor abandon us [to our enemies],

Yet I will leave 7,000 [survivors] in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed down to Baal and every mouth that has not kissed him.”
