'Leveled' in the Bible

He leveled a path for His anger [to give it free run];He did not spare their souls from death,But turned over their lives to the plague.

When he has leveled its surface,Does he not sow [the seed of] dill and scatter cumin,And plant wheat in rows,And barley in its [intended] place and rye within its border?

‘Every ravine shall be filled up,And every mountain and hill shall be leveled;And the crooked [places] shall be made straight,And the rough roads smooth;
