'Loyalty' in the Bible

Absalom said to Hushai, “Is this your loyalty to your friend? Why did you not go with your friend?”

Many a man proclaims his own loyalty,But who can find a trustworthy man?

Loyalty and truth preserve the king,And he upholds his throne by righteousness.

He who pursues righteousness and loyaltyFinds life, righteousness and honor.

What shall I do with you, O Ephraim?What shall I do with you, O Judah?For your loyalty is like a morning cloudAnd like the dew which goes away early.

For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice,And in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
