'Messengers' in the Bible

After John’s messengers left, He began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind?

He sent messengers ahead of Him, and on the way they entered a village of the Samaritans to make preparations for Him.

You have sent messengers to John, and he has testified to the truth.

And in the same way, wasn’t Rahab the prostitute also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by a different route?
