'Midst' in the Bible

“I will surely assemble all of you, Jacob,I will surely gather the remnant of Israel.I will put them together like sheep in the fold;Like a flock in the midst of its pastureThey will be noisy with men.

Her leaders pronounce judgment for a bribe,Her priests instruct for a priceAnd her prophets divine for money.Yet they lean on the Lord saying,“Is not the Lord in our midst?Calamity will not come upon us.”

“You will eat, but you will not be satisfied,And your vileness will be in your midst.You will try to remove for safekeeping,But you will not preserve anything,And what you do preserve I will give to the sword.

Shepherd Your people with Your scepter,The flock of Your possessionWhich dwells by itself in the woodland,In the midst of a fruitful field.Let them feed in Bashan and GileadAs in the days of old.
