'Moon' in the Bible

Indeed, the stars of the sky and its constellationswill not give their light.The sun will be dark when it rises,and the moon will not shine.

The moon will be put to shameand the sun disgraced,because the Lord of Hosts will reign as kingon Mount Zion in Jerusalem,and He will display His gloryin the presence of His elders.

The sun will no longer be your light by day,and the brightness of the moon will not shine on you;but the Lord will be your everlasting light,and your God will be your splendor.

Your sun will no longer set,and your moon will not fade;for the Lord will be your everlasting light,and the days of your sorrow will be over.

All mankind will come to worship Mefrom one New Moon to anotherand from one Sabbath to another,”says the Lord.
