'Moon' in the Bible

When I observe Your heavens,the work of Your fingers,the moon and the stars,which You set in place,

May he continue while the sun enduresand as long as the moon, throughout all generations.

May the righteous flourish in his daysand prosperity abounduntil the moon is no more.

The day is Yours, also the night;You established the moon and the sun.

Blow the horn on the day of our feastsduring the new moonand during the full moon.

like the moon, established forever,a faithful witness in the sky.”Selah

He made the moon to mark the festivals;the sun knows when to set.

The sun will not strike you by dayor the moon by night.

the moon and stars to rule by night.        His love is eternal.

Praise Him, sun and moon;praise Him, all you shining stars.
