'Oath' in the Bible

A false witness who breathes out lies [even half-truths],And one who spreads discord (rumors) among brothers.

An oath is on the lips of a king, In judgment his mouth trespasseth not.

A thief's accomplice hates himself; though testifying under oath, he reveals nothing.
