'Question' in the Bible
he answered the question by saying to them all, "As for me, I am baptizing you with water, but One mightier than I is coming, whose very sandal-strap I am not worthy to unfasten: He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with fire.
The men came to Jesus and said, "John the Baptist has sent us to you with this question: 'Are you the Coming One, or is there another that we are to expect?'"
Then an expounder of the Law stood up to test Him with a question. "Rabbi," he asked, "what shall I do to inherit the Life of the Ages?"
The question was put to Him by a Ruler: "Good Rabbi, what shall I do to inherit the Life of the Ages?"
So they put a question to Him. "Rabbi," they said, "we know that you say and teach what is right and that you make no distinctions between one man and another, but teach God's way truly.
From that time, however, no one ventured to challenge Him with a single question.
The Captain, seeing what had happened, gave glory to God, saying, "Beyond question this man was innocent."
