'Reaper' in the Bible
and can't even fill the hands of the reaper or the arms of the one who binds sheaves.
It will be as if a reaper had gathered standing grain- his arm harvesting the heads of grain- and as if one had gleaned heads of grain in the valley of Rephaim.
Speak as follows: This is what the Lord says: Human corpses will fall like manure on the surface of the field, like newly cut grain after the reaper with no one to gather [it].
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
The reaper is already receiving pay and gathering fruit for eternal life, so the sower and reaper can rejoice together.
