'Rebukes' in the Bible

The one who corrects a mockerwill bring dishonor on himself;the one who rebukes a wicked man will get hurt.

One who listens to life-giving rebukeswill be at home among the wise.

One who rebukes a person will later find more favorthan one who flatters with his tongue.

The nations rage like the raging of many waters.He rebukes them, and they flee far away,driven before the wind like chaff on the hillsand like tumbleweeds before a gale.

So you will be a disgrace and a taunt, a warning and a horror, to the nations around you when I execute judgments against you in anger, wrath, and furious rebukes. I, Yahweh, have spoken.
