'Reign' in the Bible

And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

So king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:

Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.

In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover kept.
