'Sank' in the Bible

The stouthearted were plundered,They sank into sleep;And none of the warriors could use his hands.

mountains rose and valleys sank—to the place You established for them.

Many times He would deliver them;They, however, were rebellious in their counsel,And so sank down in their iniquity.
