'Scorned' in the Bible

Zebulun [is] a people who scorned death, and Naphtali, on the heights of [the] field.

But because you have {utterly scorned} Yahweh in this matter, the son born for you {will certainly die}."

But I [am] a worm and not a man, scorned by humankind and despised by people.

Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If a man were to give all the wealth of his house {for love}, he would be utterly scorned.
