in the land of Edom.

And, Shema, begat Raham, the father of Jorkeam, - and, Rekem, begat Shammai.

And, the son of Shammai, was Maon, - and, Maon, was the father of Beth-zur.

And the sons of Ezra: Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon; and she conceived and bore Miriam, and Shammai, and Jishbah the father of Eshtemoa.

Mered's wife conceived Miriam, Shammai, and Ishbah, who fathered Eshtemoa. Then his Judean wife bore Jered, who fathered Gedor and then Heber, who fathered Soco and Jekuthiel, who fathered Zanoah. These are the descendants of Bithiah, daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered married.
