'Shines' in the Bible

May his name endure forever;as long as the sun shines,may his fame increase.May all nations be blessed by himand call him blessed.

Light shines in the darkness for the upright.He is gracious, compassionate, and righteous.

even the darkness is not dark to You.The night shines like the day;darkness and light are alike to You.

The light of the righteous shines brightly,but the lamp of the wicked is put out.

Y Who is this who shines like the dawn—as beautiful as the moon,bright as the sun,awe-inspiring as an army with banners?

Arise, shine, for your light has come,and the glory of the Lord shines over you.

I will not keep silent because of Zion,and I will not keep still because of Jerusalem,until her righteousness shines like a bright lightand her salvation, like a flaming torch.

If, therefore, your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, it will be entirely illuminated, as when a lamp shines its light on you.”

That light shines in the darkness,yet the darkness did not overcome it.
