'Shore' in the Bible
As Jesus was walking by the shore of the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon [Peter] and Simon’s brother, Andrew, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen.
Again He went out to the shore of the Lake, and the whole multitude kept coming to Him, and He taught them.
Again He began to teach by the sea, and a very large crowd gathered around Him. So He got into a boat on the sea and sat down, while the whole crowd was on the shore facing the sea.
So they arrived at the opposite shore of the Lake, in the country of the Gerasenes.
When Jesus had re-crossed in the boat to the other side, a vast multitude came crowding to Him; and He was on the shore of the Lake,
When evening was come, the boat was half way across the Lake, while he Himself was on shore alone.
