'Snap' in the Bible

He causes wars to cease all over the earth, he causes the bow to break, the spear to snap, the chariots to ignite and burn.

Does a bird fall into a snare on the ground without any bait in the trap? Will a trap snap shut when there is nothing to catch?

He will not snap off a broken reed or snuff out a smoldering wick until he has brought justice through to victory.
