'Soothsayer' in the Bible

There must never be found among you anyone who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, anyone who practices divination, an omen reader, a soothsayer, a sorcerer,

Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.

or a charmer, or one that inquireth of a spirit of Python, or a soothsayer, or one that consulteth the dead.

"But you, come near here, you children of a soothsayer, offspring [of] an adulterer and she [who] commits fornication.
