'Spectacle' in the Bible

I will pelt you with filth; I will treat you with contempt; I will make you a public spectacle.

And all the crowds that had assembled for this spectacle, when they saw what had taken place, returned home beating their breasts.

For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to die, because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to people.
