'Spend' in the Bible

I will heap evils upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them:

They spend their days in prosperity, And in a moment they go down to Sheol.

If they hearken and serve him , They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
