'Spoke' in the Bible

When the Lord first spoke to Hosea, He said this to him:Go and marry a promiscuous wifeand have children of promiscuity,for the land is committing blatant acts of promiscuityby abandoning the Lord.

Jacob struggled with the Angel and prevailed;he wept and sought His favor.He found him at Bethel,and there He spoke with him.

Even the Lord, the God of hosts,The name of Him [who spoke with Jacob] is the Lord.

I spoke through the prophetsand granted many visions;I gave parables through the prophets.

When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling;he was exalted in Israel.But he incurred guilt through Baal and died.
