'Stayed' in the Bible
The priest must then examine it on the seventh day, and if, as far as he can see, the infection has stayed the same and has not spread on the skin, then the priest is to quarantine the person for another seven days.
But if the spot has stayed [unchanged], it has not spread, it [is] the skin sore's scar, so the priest shall declare him clean.
But if it the spot has stayed [unchanged] in its place, it has not spread on the skin and it [is] faded, [then] it is the burn-spot's swelling, so the priest shall declare him clean, because it [is] the burn-spot's scar.
and if in his eyes the scall hath stayed, and black hair hath sprung up in it, the scall hath been healed -- he is clean -- and the priest hath pronounced him clean.
