'Summons' in the Bible
A psalm by Asaph. El, God, the Lord speaks, and summons the earth to come from the east and west.
He summons the heavens above, as well as the earth, so that he might judge his people.
Who acts and carries out decrees? Who summons the successive generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am present at the very beginning, and at the very end -- I am the one.
