'Swear' in the Bible

“I have sworn by Myself,The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousnessAnd will not turn back,That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.

“Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are named IsraelAnd who came forth from the loins of Judah,Who swear by the name of the LordAnd invoke the God of Israel,But not in truth nor in righteousness.

“Because he who is blessed in the earthWill be blessed by the God of truth;And he who swears in the earthWill swear by the God of truth;Because the former troubles are forgotten,And because they are hidden from My sight!
