'Territory' in the Bible

The Lord says:I will not relent from punishing the Ammonitesfor three crimes, even four,because they ripped openthe pregnant women of Gileadin order to enlarge their territory.

Cross over to Calneh and see;go from there to great Hamath;then go down to Gath of the Philistines.Are you better than these kingdoms?Is their territory larger than yours?
