'Testify' in the Bible

Then Pilate *said to Him, “Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?”

The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil.

And He ordered us to preach to the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead.
