'Themselves' in the Bible

The priests left the holy place. All the priests who participated had consecrated themselves, no matter which division they represented.

The leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said, "The Lord is just."

But then Hezekiah and the residents of Jerusalem humbled themselves and abandoned their pride, and the Lord was not angry with them for the rest of Hezekiah's reign.

Afterward they made preparations for themselves and for the priests, because the priests, the descendants of Aaron, were offering burnt sacrifices and fat portions until evening. The Levites made preparations for themselves and for the priests, the descendants of Aaron.
