'Today' in the Bible
So when they came home to their father Reuel, he asked, "Why have you come home so early today?"
The Israelite foremen whom Pharaoh's slave masters had set over them were beaten and were asked, "Why did you not complete your requirement for brickmaking as in the past -- both yesterday and today?"
Moses said to the people, "Do not fear! Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord that he will provide for you today; for the Egyptians that you see today you will never, ever see again.
He said to them, "This is what the Lord has said: 'Tomorrow is a time of cessation from work, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Whatever you want to bake, bake today; whatever you want to boil, boil today; whatever is left put aside for yourselves to be kept until morning.'"
Moses said, "Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to the Lord; today you will not find it in the area.
The Lord said to Moses, "Go to the people and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and make them wash their clothes
Moses said, "You have been consecrated today for the Lord, for each of you was against his son or against his brother, so he has given a blessing to you today."
