'Treachery' in the Bible
So Joram reined about and fled and said to Ahaziah, “There is treachery, O Ahaziah!”
Those who seek my life lay snares for me;And those who seek to injure me have threatened destruction,And they devise treachery all day long.
Righteous are You, O Lord, that I would plead my case with You;Indeed I would discuss matters of justice with You:Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease?
“But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die.
They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid.
